The shape is similar the NexL. The reason I bought this is because of the graffics, it its a patterned after the P51 Mustang fighter plane so the theme goes well with my Aero. It was alot cooler than my other helmets, but protection wise it's a joke. It carries a DOT approval but don't rely on this to stay on your head when you need it to. The strap loosens up constantly and is slightly uncomfortable. The helmet is light so that is a plus. I have the stars & Stripes graphics and they are awesome! In the looks department the helmet gets a 5.0. The quick release buckle is a handy feature, though I question wheter it will hold when you need it to. Others I have had are to bulky and the wind catches them. This one is light, DOT approved and very comfortable. I got the flat black, it looks cool so I will wear it. Weird sizing but this one fits. All black, really nice looking helmet, weights next to nothing. Doesn't feel as soft as a regular half helmet but after a while you don't even feel like you have a helmet on. Still want to see the one with the silver flames ...
