In my opinion, this is a must have accessory. I upgraded the tach to a black faced Auto Meter for a few extra dollars. I think it was well worth it. No needle bouncing and no fogging up like the Drag tach. I am extremely pleased with this tach.

The installation on this was more than anyone with limited mechanical capability should take on. This involves drilling into your handle clamp(very precisely), taking the seat off, sliding your gas tank back, taking the headlight apart, and making a number of wiring connections. Needle jumps quite a bit at idle and smooths out once you get about 1500 RPM. The finish is excellent and looks like an original part.
