I highly reccomend the PolyArt Lowers. Anyone who rides in the rain a lot should get these. I think I paid about $70 new. Too bad that they don't make these anymore.

There are no instructions for mounting. Need to know about placement of rubber washers. Put them on today, Hope I got them on right, cause they work great. Used the suction cup hangers instead of the little rubber glue on dodads. Test drove slow, fast, chased down a big rig, work great there to. Cold day 47 degrees high wind, didn"t want to stop riding. Really make a big difference in the wind coming up in my face. Look great on my O & C Honda Aero. Would recomend these to anybody.

NOT AN EASY FIT FOR COBRA LIGHT BAR AND MEMPHIS FATS SHIELD. I had to cut channels and create a special wrench to install these lowers. Some instructions or a warning for the Cobra/Memphis issue would have been appreciated. I had to research this with the seller, many Aero riders and even the original creator of this product. Now that they are installed, the performance at speed is quite good. I agree with some that these should have been created about twice as thick as they are to avoid the vibrations and rattles. As someone out there suggested, use 25 cent suction cups vs. the sticky rubber bumpers supplied. After 700 miles I can say that the rattling does not bother me anymore - heck everything else rattes too. Performance on a 500 mile trip was EXCELLENT.

I could not ride without mine on....but I did experience a lot of problems keeping the little rubber pads in place between fork and lower. I gave up and went to Wal-Mart and got some small clear rubber suction cups in the arts and crafts department. They work just fine. I think this is a little pricey, but worth it. Too bad they can't maunufacture a windshield that you didn't have to purchase lowers to enjoy.

Having installed a National Cycle windsheild, I was experiencing severe head buffeting at 90 KM's (50 MPH) and up. I was totally taken back with the differemce the Polyart deflector made. I could then drive over 120 KM's (75MPH) no problems at all. Even with severe side winds the ride was perfect - GREAT PRODUCT!

Looks are OK. Installation was a snap. Does a great job of deflecting the wind and almost completely eliminated buffeting. Almost 200 miles and nothing bad to say yet. Chrome lowers look better, but I was more interested in getting rid of the buffeting than the looks and judging by the reviews, these won out. I'd like to ride with some chrome ones to tell the difference, but....

Bought them used. Previous owner complained that they were too flimsey. I've yet to experience this. Used to get a lot of head buffeting at highway speeds without the lowers. These lowers have eliminated the head buffeting.

Picked it up used Works like a charm. The chrome ones may look prettier, but this one is a work of art. No head billeting unless I'm ripping past an 18 wheeler at 70mph. -zen

Actually, I made my own lowers that sort of resemble the Pollyart lowers. They look a lot better and only cost me 5 bucks

Simple installation. Replacement bolts provide were far too long. Reused originals. Too much snow on roads to test out. Will update after ride. Works like I anticipated. Helmet buffeting is minimized. Just returned from a 250+mile ride through Colorado mountain roads. Worked beyond expectations.

Very easy to install. Did not make as much difference as I had hoped for with the Memphis Fats 17 inch windshield. UPDATE: Turns out most of the buffeting I'm still getting is from very gusty crosswinds. The lowers work great on days when there are no crosswinds. UPDATE 2: The small bumpers included with the lowers do not stay in place. I'm trying small suction cups which seem to work well. The suction cups I'm using are made for mounting sun-catchers in windows. I just removed the metal hook and placed the cup between the lower and the forks.

It's amazing how great this works. You get the sensation that the wind is pushing you from behind, absolutely no turbulence ( brain shake ). The only problem is the clear rubber bumpers that keep it off the forks won't stay in place.

Stop reading this review and order this lower. I am amazed and thrilled at the major difference it has made. Highway speeds are so much smoother that it makes it a joy to ride and it has increased my confidence and awareness of other vehicles.

I bought one of Don Haines last production set of lowers. They work great stopping the buffeting caused by wind coming under MS 17" shield. I highly recommend this product.
