Still breaking in the saddle. I expect it will get more comfortable over time. Definitely better than the stock seat. Wife prefers it over stock as well. Don't know how it will feel to ride. Loved the last one I had. Looks very nice good quality, and contrary to what there website says it will fit with a Honda line back rest. Corbins are not soft, but contoured. They are expensive but one of the best looking seats I have seen, and in the top 2 or 3 for comfort. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

The comfort is out of this world and I can ride all day long without any soreness. Corbin rocks and so does Hondaline Direct!!!!! Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. You seam to seat up a lot straighter with the corbin then the mustang. I do not get any back stress with the corbin. I also added the V-rail and the two back rests with the studded look. The bike apperance looks a lot cleaner. It fits the retro look better. Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(4 stars) reviewed on 01/01/04 byDave (davedg3) from San Carlos, CA, United States, for a 1800 VTX1800R (Retro) wrote: One of the main reasons I bought this seat was because the factory was close by. I could ride there, give them some input, watch them make it, and then ride off (you will be there all day almost for sure if you do this). I may have given too much of my own input, as after having the seat for about 1000 miles I realized it was like getting on a slide and heading down towards the tank. Went back for revisions (nearly all day again, but free!), and now the seat is nearly flawless. The only thing: I am up higher than I was with the stock seat or before the Corbin revisions, and this results in a lot more wind on the head (I have the Hondaline windshield) and some pretty intense head buffeting (over 80 mph) when I turn my head. If they see me returning they may close the doors!? Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 10/15/03 byHOTVTX (pizzaman) from Discovery Bay, CA, United States, for a 2002 1800 VTX1800R (Retro) wrote: Second bike, second Corbin seat. Comfort is awesome for both me and my girl. We could only ride for a short distance with the stock seat but with the Corbin we rode to Street Vibrations taking the long route with no discomfort at all. Great for those with long legs because it does move you back in the saddle. Went to Corbin and had it custom designed, they did great work. (5 stars) reviewed on 10/10/03 byDaniel Morales (danielmorales) from Carrollton, TX, United States, for a 2002 1800 VTX1800R (Retro) wrote: Have this in black ostrich with black faux snake piping and studs. Combined with the Aeromach 4" pullbacks, my Retro is a totally new bike. Seating position is great and my passenger's feel their seat is a BIG upgrade in comfort and security. If this seat is supposed to get even better over the next 1K miles, I'll be ecstatic, cause I love it now. I know that Corbin has had some less than favorable customer reviews, but they delivered a flawless seat and backrest in two weeks, two weeks sooner than they had promised. This seat is better than expected. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

I sent the seat back to the factory because they said they could soften it up a little. Took forever to get my seat back after being lied to several times(it has been shipped,we have had a computer problem,Etc) I got my saddle back to only see they had done nothing except put free studs on it.It is still hard as a phone pole.I will not deal with them again.I found out others have had the same problem.
