I got them in black to match the bike. Had to replace cables but I had planned on stainless Barnnets anyway. Also intalled risers assembly from 1800 Retro. (4 stars) reviewed on 07/06/04 byChuck (chux03) from Kapowsin, WA, United States, for a 2003 1500 Vulcan Classic wrote: HOPEFULLY this'll end the uncomfortableness of the stock bars especially for a big guy like myself. Easy installation, the only glitch was that the stock bars have little guide holes for the mirror mount brackets which have small metal bump that rides in that hole. Instead of drilling the new bars I just took my Dremmel tool and ground off the little bump so that they'd mount together flush when screwed together. Other than that, installation was a breeze. All stock cables work with this bar, at least on my big Vulcan. Of all my upgrades, I've got high hopes for this one....This's bar M-5 Review Details 4 out of 4 members found this review helpful. (3 stars) reviewed on 02/17/04 byBruce Norton (brucekaye) from Encinitas, CA, United States, for a 2006 black cherry Roadliner 1100 V-Star Classic wrote: This is the type of bars I have. I got them on E bay I did not need to have the cables lengthened and they are really comfortable for cursing on down the road. I did have to drill a hole in the bars for the throttle and I had to fabricate a plug in the end of the bars to put the weights in, the stock ones are welded in the bars ends and that was the biggest pain of the whole deal! So do a little homework before you take this project on. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
