The ultimate in keeping your hands warm! The heating element runs around each finger and thumb and on the back of the hand. The wires are part of the glove itself which means no loss of dexterity as with inserts. The gloves feature a water repellent outer shell, combined with a deluxe drum dyed leather palm. Insulation consists of 150G full wrap around Soft Thinsulate Thermal Insulation ®. Additional features include extended overall length, precurved box fingers, reinforced leather palm and fingers with all leather fourchettes, forefinger reinforcement, and velcro straps on both front and backside. They can be used with or without Lectric-vests.

Current draw: 20 watts (Our gloves tend to run on the big side. If you find that you can wear medium in one manufacturer's glove and a large in another, order a medium.)

love thos gloves, use them when the temperature drops below 50 degrees. The sizing really is a problem. I have a 2XL riding glove and got the XL Widder glove - too big. Now I have the L and still have plenty of room. Update 11/24/06 - almost 3 years after my inital review: I still love these gloves. Went on a ride yesterday (50 degrees) and my girlfriend was wearing the gloves, she had a big smile on her face. I rode to work this morning (32 degrees) and I had a big smile on my face :-) I plug them into the Goldwing 10 minutes before I leave.

Gloves provide excellent heat but I find them to be a bit bulky. The connectors are on the inside (palm side) of the gauntlet and with the length of my jacket sleeves it makes it awkward to route the wiring back up to the connector and is pretty crampted
