I've always ridden all year long, here in VA it normally doesn't can much colder than the low 20's. I rode for year before going electric, when I did I wished I had done it alot sooner. Widder makes good stuff but the connectors are a bit cheesy. I've had mine for about 7 years and they are still in fine condition. I don't remember how much I paid for them.
