I compared their wiring diagrams to the one in my Clymer manual to figure out which wires to splice into. Straightforward installation, and small enough to fit inside the headlight shell, but I mounted it under my gas tank instead, so I could also connect the hi-beam indicator light to it as well (so it would flash too). Turns out the indicator bulb couldn't handle being modulated - it burned out within a day, but the H4 hi-beam filament itself can handle it without a problem (although I've found standard H4 bulbs have much better longevity than various pricey "ultra-bright" or blue-tint H4 bulbs out there).
