Had this unit for a couple of years. Excellent quality and works great. Even warm without being plugged in - and it's not bulky. Just added the gloves and the one-system works great. just plug in the vest with the gloves plugged into the vest and everything works.

I use the system 2 vest with collar. I also have the arm chaps. The vest is definitely worth having. Get the Widder Lectric-Heat Thermostat Cord (Electronic/Coiled) part# H35127. Allows you to adjust heat flow by turning the knob. The standard item is a switch that you have to turn on and off by hand. .
