I'm 49, 6'2" 245lbs with long salt & pepper hair. Most of the time it's in a ponytail while riding. My first bike was a 1968 Police Special Harley with a suicide clutch and fully chopped, also had a king/queen seat. That was back in the mid to late 1970's and I was 16/17 years old with that bike. I was a fool for getting rid of it. Then started dirt biking/motorcross for a few years as far as bikes go. Also did some go cart racing, now thats a wild ride when you have a go cart that can run 90 and 100 miles an hour on a track. After having a few crashes on my dirt bike and a close call I got off the dirt bike and decided after many years it's time to get another street bike and glad I did. I had almost forgot how wonderful it is to be on the open road riding a bike. Bikers are a special breed and I would say 75% to 85% are always watching out for the other guy.

I think everybody should take defensive driving courses so they might then look more than once before pulling out in front of a biker. I go on charity rides as much as I can to help out and also meet some great people. Like I said before Bikers are a special breed. Believe this or not my doctor said it would be a great idea to get a cruiser with air suspension for my back so I did and glad I did because it's great on long rides. I ride a 2008 1600 Vulcan Nomad now and having a blast. Just started taking pics of it with the add-ons I'm installing so pictures are to come soon.
