I was raised around motorcycles, as my old man rode for as long as I can remember. He always wanted a Harley, but could never seem to afford it... in essence, it was instilled in my brother and I that the Harley Davidson is the true pinnacle of bikes. We all ride Harley's now. My father has a 2005 Road King, my little brother has a 2003 Sportster 100th Anniversary XL1200C, and I have this 2006 Sportster XL1200L. This is my second bike... I started out with a Suzuki Marauder VZ800, which I "tricked out" and chromed up to make it my own, including custom paint on the front fender done by a friend of mine. I just bought the Harley in March 2007, and have been BIG TIME impressed thus far. I have also been chroming and tricking-out this bike to personalize it... I love the way it looks now. And there is still more that I want to do, including some custom paint again. I love riding in groups, regardless of what you ride (though I am not big on crotch rockets). Drop me a line if you are in the area and want to go out for a spin... the ride through the Rocky Mountain pass via Banff and into British Columbia is arguably one of the best in the world.
