About Me

I live in Melbourne, Australia. I've been riding for three years but I've wanted a motorcycle for more than 20. Loving the vstar - she's my favourite toy.

I ride to work and back every day and go for a cruise most weekends. I clock up an average of 20,000kms (12,000 mi) each year on the bike. There are plenty of places to go here in Victoria - we're really spoilt for choice. My favourite runs are down the Peninsula to Pt Nepean (160km/100mi round trip avoiding the freeway) and up into the hills thru Emerald, Launching Place and then back again (about 200km/120mi too).

I'm an amateur photographer and take photos most times I go out riding. You can see a lot of my work at http://www.thegravenimage.com

I joined the Ulysses Club in February '09. It's a motorcycle club for over 40's. I've been on a few rides with the Melbourne branch guys - great times!

My order from CC took only 7 days (5 business days) to get to me once the items were in stock - awesome!

The rest of my CC order has been posted! Woo hoo! Hopefully I'll be able to do some more work on my baby next weekend.

About bloody time
Posted 5 days ago
Went for my first long ride in months today. Headed inland and took the turnoff to Emerald, then Cockatoo, Olinda, and then back home via Ferntree Gully. A little over 120km in all along some nice twisty roads, all through beautiful woods up in the mountains. I feel much more relaxed now.
