This helmet model meets or exceeds both ECE 22.05 and DOT FMVSS-218 motorcycle helmet safety standards. Please Note: Only ECE approved helmets purchased from European importers carry the ECE certification markings. This is due to ECE regulations.

An aerodynamic shell design constructed using an advanced lightweight composite poly-alloy. A helmet liner and cheek pads made with a hypo-allergenic and antimicrobial nylon, all of which are removable and washable.

A flush-fit, side-coverless face shield that is optically correct, compound-curved, scratch-resistant and protects against UV-rays. There are several tinted shields available for this model.

Can be converted from a motorcycle helmet to a snowmobile helmet with a dual-lens or dual-lens electric shield. Features 6-point ventilation with chin, side, forehead, top and rear vents. Features a square type D-ring with chin strap holder.

Provides ample ear cavity space for speakers. Clearcoat finish protects helmet paint and graphics, while providing a great looking shine. Comes with a Lifetime Warranty. A large-size FX-30 helmet weighs 1.73 kg or 3.81 lbs.

I have owned this helmet for 2-3 years now. I was initially drawn to it because of the crazy graphics on it and the matte black finish. I love having something different than everyone else and this helmet fits the bill. I have dropped it (though not from up high) a couple times and it has never cracked, dented or anything. The few things that have happened to are: scratch on inside of shield (the helmet was hanging on my highway peg and snagged on some metal - can't fault the manufacturer), one of the metal/foil circular vent covers at the rear of the helmet fell down inside the helmet (I guess the glue gave way - I wasn't happy about this because I can hear it rattle sometimes and because it doesn't look right from the back), and the right hinge of my shield has dislodged itself slightly (I have to push the hinge back in when I close my visor). I don't fault the manufacturer for this one as I have used this thing mostly on the highway and didn't notice until I was about 75% throug...
