I purchased the Carbon Fiber model. I really like the lid. It's been very comfortable and cool on hot Florida days. The Carbon Fiber is a nice contrast to my silver Vulcan 1600. My only complaint is that the forehead vent is not installed straight (the reason my overall rating is only 4 stars). Of course I don't notice it while it's on my head, so it hasn't really bothered me.
