Great bags, the slant takes away some of the capacity but otherwise fit a great deal and work nicely with my easy brackets.

Quite a big bag - at 12.5 inches tall , a much better fit on a VN1500 than the Saddlemen Midnight Express Drifter Jumbo Slant (phew!)ones I had on before. I will not use the nifty detachable yoke system though as the VN1500 pillion seat mounting points get in the way. I'm not too keen on the fake elephant hide finish though. They were very dry out the box but a good polish with black shoe polish sorted that out & made the vinyl stuff look a bit more like leather. Even though they are supposedly "plain" they have one concho at the rear just above the fake buckle & strap closure. They have a carry handle at the top of each bag but it seems too flimsy to actually carry the bag with when full. IMHO - they could have been finished off a bit better & only time will tell if the velcro closures will konk out as some other reviewers have noted........

Insurance repaced these bags, no serious damage to them. I added puter egales to each bag

Great bags & very easy to install. Had 'em on in about a half an hour.First thing that I did after installation was to apply a good dose of armor all because they looked kind of "dry" out of the box.It really did the trick. I would recommend these bags to anyone. Sorry Cruiser Customizing,The other vendor just had a better price.

The bags look great and seem to be made for some durability. I gotta make some custom mounting brakets to fit my vtx, but I think it'll look good when I'm done. Will update when I do actually install and use them for a while.

bags fit with stock pipes and look good. You will need to have snap added to middle of the "S" on side of the lid if you ride over 65 mph. Velcro comes off at 75-80. Also the inside support plastic is not thick enough to do the job. You will need to make inside support L brackets if you use "easybrackets" like I did. Other than those flaws, a ver good bag.

Great looking bags, they match the lines of my Aero perfectly! Update: After over a year of heavy use the velcro wore out & would not keep the sides of the bags closed on the freeway. I had black snaps added on top of the velco at a local upholstery shop, problem fixed- now they work great again.
