Good size, and practical, but I hate the tiny studs, so I went to a leather store and bought 3/8 studs and put them on. It does fit better with a bigger bike like the VTX1800. I installed metal brackets that make removing the bags easy with the turn of a key, but I had to put in 1/4 plywood cutout inside the bags to keep them from sagging

Hi Steve , I bought a set for my Vstar 650 about the same size as those and they fit just fine. Do your self a favour and look at the EASY BRACKET for fitting .If you can stretch the budget a bit further they are worth it.

They are pretty long. I just put some hard bags on my 1100 and they are a slant style and 25" long. When I mounted them I had them level with the top of the fender and it meant I had to relocate the rear turn signals. It is possible these may fit but you may compromise the turn signals or passenger foot rests. Your best bet would be measure out 27 " and see where it fits but remember that the measurement is the very front of the slant to the rear of the bag.
