Ok....this is quite a project to install. After taking off the seat and gas tank, you are now faced with the job of removing the current airbox. There are two approaches. The first (as it is written in the instructions) recommends cutting of the current box with a saw. The second option suggest splitting the seam of the current box and then taking it apart in two pieces. This is the method I chose. I wanted to maintain the integrity of the existing airbox. It was quite difficult separating the the two parts.. Once that was done, getting the upper half out through the narrow opening took some twisting and tugging. It will work. Once the old box is removed, the install of the this new box is quite easy and the end result looks and functions great.
