I used the Motorcycle Tire Store in Oklahoma City and that guy mounts and balances the tires on a rolling bike for $15 per tire. See if you can beat that anywhere! Ken Anderson (SpiceGuy) from Woodland, CA, United States, for a 2004 Bronze Metallic 1500 Vulcan Nomad Fi wrote: Second time using this tire. I ran it slightly under-inflated on a long trip and cupped it badly. I was pushing it pretty hard. Still got 8k miles out of it, and installed a new one. This tire works best on our bike because it has the highest load rating, we just have to remember to over-inflate it to about 45 lbs. cold. Myself + wife + Tourpack + Tools + Luggage = 500+ Lbs.! We really need a tire like the Avon. Review Details 2 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Dominik (Desoto) from Sherbrooke, QC, Canada, for a 2006 Ebony black 1600 Vulcan Nomad wrote: Looks a little wider than the stock 170 tire. The bike handles very good and those tires are so quiet. I was used to the howling sound the stock Bridgestones and a replacement Dunlop made. The Avons are quiet. Like I said for the front tire, if it doesn't wear out too fast, I will surely buy them again. -TIRE WEAR UPDATE- Well, I've put 15 000km on it and its holding up very well. I still have a little more than half the thread left. It's probably good for another 15 000km. Review Details 5 out of 5 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
