I was surprised how simple the installation was and as far as the fit, it was perfect and I am 6' also.....I would recommend this backrest, but it is a little pricey.....I believe if CuiserCustomizing would lower the price at least $100 to $200, it would be available and sold to a lot of other owners.....I use to own a Harley and the abbreviation of HD stood for a Hundred Dollars. Although I highly recommend this item, it's not for a Harley and should be priced as such.

Initial installation was very easy. Back rest is way too tall, even in lowest adjustment the pad hits my back clear up at my shoulder blades (I am six feet tall)! Ended up having to disassemble and modify the back rest to make it usable. Still needs much more extensive modification to locate back rest where it needs to be to support my back. Unless you are prepared to make major modifications, do not waste your money on this product!
