Very hard to get the elbows out of the cylinders. But once it's done, the bike looks much cleaner with all the extra hoses removed.

Not so easy to get the old ones off, especially the rear one, but once gone, the new ones was easy to assemble. Put them in the fridge over night, this makes it a lot easier!

The left side cover should be removed unless your feeling real lucky. I removed the tank to get at the vacuum hose and I made a slide hammer with threaded rod and vice grips to remove fittings from engine. No need to swing a large hammer towards your bike if you do this. I found removing the canister etc in front of the engine to be the worst part of this modification. There is no adverse effect on how the engine runs. I did this mod over 3 years ago. It ain't cheap for what you get but the bike looks considerably better without Yamaha's plumber's nightmare. The price I paid is in Canadian funds.

Really cleans up the bike! Somewhat difficult to get the old AIS stuff off the bike, but well worth it. Expensive for what it is. If I would have had some .45 shells, would have used them instead (for a lot cheaper).
