I actually made my own. Had to disconnect the AIS after rejetting and found these instructions online. All I had to do is put steel blanks inside the hoses and clamp back together using the original clamps. No one, to include inspectors if your state does emission test/inspection will be any more the wiser.

Made my own. Went and got two 25mm bolts and and a couple of hose clamps. Spread some gasket sealer on the bolts and clamped em in the hose. Worked great. My next move will be to remove the entire AIS housing.

Made my own for my VSTAR 650. same principle though. makes the bike sound better in many respects. cuts down on "popping" when bike is cold and gives exhaust better sound all together. I highly reccomend buying a kit for your bike or making your own!
