AIS clean-up

This kit really allows clean-up and removal of the AIS system.  If you have an aftermarket air kit and exhaust, this kit is a must to remove the AIS and eliminate the backfiring and popping that it causes.  Since the AIS is an unnecessary pile of parts, why not clean up the front of the engine?

Good quality, simple install, good instructions. Makes exhaust a little crisper and cleans up the ugliness of all that emission equipment junk.

Definately worth the install time. I installed this kit before I installed the baron bak, ported intake and cobra exhaust and it definately reduced the backfire on decel.

Removes the AIS clutter from the engine and reduces backfiring with aftermarket exhaust. Installation is realtively straight forward. Be carefull not to strip the phillips screws holding pieces of the AIS to the frame between the downtubes.

Easy to install. Becareful when reinstalling the fuel pump cover. I broke the top insert on mine. It did really clean up the motor. I was surprised at how much stuff actually came off.

It seems pricey for what you get, but what you get to do with it is well worth the slight expense. Pulling all the garbage off takes more time than this quick block job. Those of us with later models got off lucky compared to what the older guys had to deal with.
