Excellent tach fits nicely in center of handlebar. Very complete installation kit and super easy install after removing seat and tank.

Small, shiny and functional...love it. Lots better than having to look down at the speedo all the time.

Works well, more chrome, needle is a little jumpy at idle. I think I read this before, the blue and red wire went to negative and the green wire went to positive, unlike what the instructions said.

I just finished installing the tach. The installation was easy, the hardest part was getting the gas tank off/on. It came with all the connectors that you need to make the attachments to the coil. I did not need to add wire as some other riders stated in other reviews. I did run the wire out the bottom of the tach (it comes with it coming out the back). It works like a charm and looks great.

I have just finished the installation in less than an hour and am very pleased with the tachometer, it matches the stock speedometer on my bike and seems to work well. I would highly recommend a tach for any bike without one. Now the truth is that while it took less than an hour more like 30 minutes to install, is because I had done it twice before with a faulty tachometer that I got first, then returned it and the new one was in in notime because of the previous practice and the great help and advice from another cruiser customizing customer Dale. Without Dale's clear instructoins about how easy it was to install the tach and his encouragement I probably would have given up just trying to figure out how to get the seat and tank of the bike, easy just three screws now that I know.

THIS IS DEFINITELY QUALITY ITEM. I DREADED THE HOOKUP BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE MAJOR UNDERTAKING TO GET TO COIL. I WAS SUPRISED WHEN I REMOVED THE TANK OF MY 750 SPIRIT AND THERE IT WAS MOUNTED ACCESSIBLY ON THE FRAME.

Great product. Mounted it on Handle bar between risers on my 2005 Honda Spirit 750. Had dealer install and wire, which is the best idea. Mounted the voltmeter just underneath tach. Looks like factory installation.

Looks great on the bike. Easy to install. Factory should have supplied longer wires to reach the coil. If you buy this tach you will need to get some 24 gage wire to get the right length.

You'll need to extend the wires to fit this comfortably on bikes with the coil under the tank. The wires that were included weren't very long, but the tach did come with all the necessary electrical connectors to make a very sanitary installation. Most importantly, this is big enough to see it easily while riding, and the needle is very responsive. A quality piece of work. It's just a shame that the factories don't put tachs on their bikes from the get go. I also received very quality technical support direct from Baron's.
