Just installed it. It went very well. Great instructions. Take your time. Also did a desmog at the same time. The cover is a really nice peice. Heavy, with excellent chrome. This kit actually gives more clearance around it than the stock air box. Less obtrusive to your right leg.

Really liked the design. It actually is little more recessed than the stock air cleaner which makes a little more room for my knees. Creates a noticeably quicker throttle response. Looks nice on the bike. I installed it myself with the most difficult part being the removal/reinstallation of the gas tank to remove the factory air box.

Looks great and also seemed to add power and response. Had it installed because it was a little more involved than I wanted to get. But if I was not soo scared of droping or scratching my gas tank and the fact of having my power commander installed i would have done it myself. Make it look even better by buying the color match paint pen and CAREFULLY use the PEN side to lay a bead of paint in the pinstriping.
