Great intake, straightforward install that becomes a pain in the ass when you have to screw the cover on at the end from the backside of the intake.

I was a bit concerned when I opened the package and some of the parts listed in the "universal" parts list were missing, but it turned out they were not needed as this installs without adapters, using the stock bolts. The kit includes an air hose that is to go behind the air inlet(between the cylinders) and attach near the bottom of the air filter. But the stock setup has a formed elbow from the engine that attaches to a "T" connection (for another air hose) that needed to be included - but was not referenced in the instructions. So I cut off about 3 inches of the supplied hose, loosened all of the retaining clips and rotated the elbow and T connection from its horizontal position to almost vertical, with the "T" connection and other air hose still attached. I then connected the shortened supplied hose to the other end of the "T" (where the stock hose was connected) and then routed it as directed, behind and between the cylinders, & it connected with no problems. I pu...

Not to hard to install. Really makes a difference in "seat of the pants" performance. Bike pulls harder and responds better to throttle roll on.

Really looks good on the bike, much improved air flow, does release some carb noise but not drastic. Very easy to install.

Impressed with the weight/ quality of this item, fits the V of the cylinders like Kawasaki engineered it for the bike. Relatively easy install - instructions better than most manufacturers but could be a little better. Not sure if a performance item but a must in getting rid of the plastic stock item that had already started to delaminate. If I were to buy another Vulcan 900 - this would be one of the first - if not the first accessory I would purchase.

Looks very very good on my bike. Not sure that it actually improves HP but it certainly adds a deeper noise to my VN900. You can really hear how the air gets sucked in! Not that easy to install, took me about an hour and a half. Very fine quality of the chrome.
