Spoke to Barons during install, thats when I found out they have not yet developed the correct cover plate for the 08 model. One of the sensors was changed on the 08. Also, the chrome must be thin. When standing a distance from the bike, you can see waves from the milling process. I chose the plain design so it probably shows up more than the others. Couldn't use lock washers on the inside of the front cover, (LOCK TIGHT IT) didn't tighten down tight on filter compeletly. A lot smaller than stock filter housing.
