(4 stars) reviewed on 11/13/11 bySteve (shoban) from Westminster, CO, United States, for a 2002 1700 Road Star Warrior wrote: for the 09 Warrior. Cleaned up the right side and was part of the intake/exhaust upgrade in which I added this, the AIS block off, Cobra speedter swept pipes and a Power Commander III. Put HP up to almost 80HP - did not improve performance as much as I expected. Bike runs good though, not really unhappy. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Need the high compression pistons and race cam to really make a difference. It does clean up the right side of the engine by completly bypassing the airbox - removed mine altogether. now need to come up with a custom cover to fill that space - will do something this winter that is unique to my bike. There is a split second delay when you hit the trottle on a down shift. It does make the bike more alive! Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Bike seems to pull even harder than before the install. Sounds different too. Excellent product but a pain to install if you don't know what you are doing. (5 stars) reviewed on 06/14/07 byT-Dub (Quart2000) from Sioux Falls, SD, United States, for a 2006 - Cobalt Blue w/Star Silver Flames 1700 Road Star Warrior wrote: I actually have the Patrick Racing Big Air Kit with velocity Stacks. The PR kit wasn't listed and I wanted to get this one out of my wishlist so I am listing this as the PR kit. The PR kit is great, the velocity stacks are nice machined aluminum parts and help the flow into the throttle bodies. There was a very noticeable difference in power. A Power Commander or other fuel computer is needed, as my new fuel map is drastically different than with the stock airbox in many parts of the map. The bike pulls solidly and smoothly all the way to redline. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Fairly easy to install, had to do some modifications to the plate in order to fit correctly. Yamaha Dealer will not do the coil recall because they are not in their original location.
