Except for the fact that a screw was missing to mount the tach to the brake reservoir, the tach is wonderful. No needle bouncing whatsoever. The backlighting function seems a little strange as every time the ignition is turned off, the backlight (on mine at least) defaults to red and must be reset to the desired color with the supplied button. If you like this feature you should consider putting that button in a convenient location.
