(3 stars) reviewed on 06/04/12 byDave Walker (dps4045) from El Paso, TX, US, for a 2006 Black 1100 V-Star Classic wrote: Had this item for a while now and I'm not sure what to make of it. Used it on the clutch cable and it actually looks good. Had difficulty with the shrink tubing staying on. When you cut the tubing it frays very easily and it makes it even more difficult to secure the ends. I'll try again later on when I have more time to see what I can do with this. If you try to cut it, it comes apart bit by bit. Had silver glitter all over my bike and my garage. Don't waste your money like I did. Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. (4 stars) reviewed on 08/27/04 byTom (biker3) from Sharpsville, IN, United States, for a 2003 1100 V-Star Classic wrote: Looks much better than black cables although the covering is more chrome looking than stainless. The package was smaller than expected but you get what's advertised. You need some mechanical backround to install these because you have to unhook cables and bleed brake lines but not that difficult to install. If you want real stainless braided remember you will spending $200+ to change all cables & lines. Even though these are a plastic covering I believe they will last for some time because you find this type of material in automotive applications now. You get what you pay for and this seems to be a reasonable value. Review Details 8 out of 8 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

The picture makes it look like you get enough to do two bikes, but you get just enough to complete one (maybe) with no mistakes. Kinda pricey for what you get.
