Easy to fit, but takes time for everthing else to be removed before fitting. A little bit too shiny but hopefully will dull off in time. worth doing on some cables and pipes.

I bought this stuff to put over my wires to match the real stainless cables but it did not match at all. It also was to small in diameter to fit over the plugs on the wires. I did not use this product.

This stuff looks pretty good. It's not an exact match for braided stainless, but it seems to be pretty close. It's a little tricky to put on, make sure you use a hot knife to keep it from fraying out. What I got was not exactly what's pictured. It's not Barons, it's some company called Techfusion, but the product seems to be the same. This stuff is brighter than stainless, but I've been told that with a little time it will look more like stainless. I'm gonna leave it on a while and see how it works out. If it doesn't last I'm gonna try some real stainless metal sleeving from the auto parts store.

Covering the electrical wires with crome is a great idea. The crome covering looks much better than the black rubber covering that comes stock. A bit of a time consuming job.

Three sizes of covering are in the packaging along with a small amount of clear heat shrink tubing. Only a small amount of the largest size is included, basically, giving you one shot at the wiring on the left side of the handlebars of a Mean Streak. I had to splice into my harness on both sides to make it work. Make sure that the wire ends are trimmed and tinned prior to placing the covering over them. They fray very easily and the more you do before you work with them the better. Cut the clear heat shrink and slide it over the ends of the covering when you are working with I to keep it from fraying more. Also have a couple of extra alligator clips around just to block the covering from your work area. If I do this again, I will go to an electronics store and get additional clear tubing.
