I am here to tell you my verdict. The first 75 miles on the bike, no problem with the butt. After you hit 100 plus miles, you really start feeling the pain. It fits perfect on my V-Star seat and stays snuggly under my rear. The added padding really helps. I'm thinking of using some black velcro tape to hold it in place when i'm not sitting on the bike. The stock seat on my RSTD looks nice but is painful on the lower back on buttocks after only 1/2 hour. When I use this pad - simply resting on top of the sea - I'm able to ride the whole day. Even with the Mustang seat, I still have problems with the top edges of the seat on the hamstring area. No numbness, just little discomfort. The pad was better than the seat along, but not quite what I needed. I actually had better luck, moving the pad forward (front edge on the tank) so that the pad eased the top edge.
