(3 stars) reviewed on 04/27/09 byYolanda Washington (denise3664) from woodbridge, VA, United States, for a 2006 750 Shadow Aero wrote: ok, now i purchase this thing last year, so i can save money on seats. I am here to tell you my verdict. The first 75 miles on the bike, no problem with the butt. After you hit 100 plus miles, you really start feeling the pain. Just rode yesterday and logged about 160 miles on the bike and was convinced that I have to fork it up and get me some new seats.. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Wish there was a way to attach it, and it's kind of an eye sore, but who cares when it's under your rump...might take apart the seat and cut out some of the oem seat and recover it, haven't decided yet. Kevin Pratt (kwpratt) from Corona, CA, United States, for a 03' Cream, Grey & Chrome 1100 V-Star Classic wrote: The Baron comfort pad is a real lifesaver for those of us with bad backs. It fits perfect on my V-Star seat and stays snuggly under my rear. The added padding really helps. I'm thinking of using some black velcro tape to hold it in place when i'm not sitting on the bike. (4 stars) reviewed on 09/25/07 byJ-Dawg Givens (jpgivens) from Leander, TX, United States, for a 2007 Midnight 1300 Royal Star Tourer Deluxe wrote: I've been using this for a few months and can't live without it. The stock seat on my RSTD looks nice but is painful on the lower back on buttocks after only 1/2 hour. When I use this pad - simply resting on top of the sea - I'm able to ride the whole day. I still find that it's not a perfect fix but it does help and is an affordable alternative to replacing the seat. Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. (4 stars) reviewed on 09/14/07 byJerry Roquemore (flintroque) from Williamsburg, VA, United States, for a 2007 2 Tone (Blue/Black) 650 V-Star Silverado wrote: As most V-Star riders will agree, your a$$ starts feeling a bit numb within the first half hour of a ride. No, this comfort pad does not alleviate that 100%, but it does get you farther into a long ride before you start adjusting yourself to bring the feeling back into your tailbone. Had to invent something to get it fastened to the seat and looked more secure. Cheaper solution to get a new, more confortable seat than stock. (3 stars) reviewed on 11/15/06 byEric Fierst (efierst) from Haymarket, VA, for a 2002 Custom Painted 1100 V-Star Custom wrote: Tried this out on the way to Sturgis this year. Even with the Mustang seat, I still have problems with the top edges of the seat on the hamstring area. No numbness, just little discomfort. The pad was better than the seat along, but not quite what I needed. I actually had better luck, moving the pad forward (front edge on the tank) so that the pad eased the top edge. Better than without, but still back to the drawing board. Review Details 4 out of 4 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
