It helps the passager more then me and on the really long Iron butts any thing that changes up the possition for a while will help butt from getting numb is a good thing

I bought the large Butt Buffer instead. Its not a gel, but a solid material. But its better than foam and not much more $$. Really helped the seat confort on long rides.
