this product makes a great change in the look, and after placing pegs on them, I don't think I will be getting forward controls. The chrome is great, easy install, just have to remove your shifter linkage and it's on!!~~ Put it all back together and it looks like it belongs on the V-Star 1100!!!!

I bought my bike from someone and there were no engine guards on it. I had the misfortune of dropping it and it cost me a few dollars to get it fixed. I made this a top priority and shortly after I had them installed was out on a ride and made an extremely sharp turn off a hill onto another hill and the engine guard allowed me to keep my bike in an upright position... I definately think everyone should have these installed.

Pretty easy to install, would help if you had another set of hands. I was shorted out on some of the hardware to install it...one quick phone call to CC and they took care of it. Shipped another hardware kit the next day! Tight fit (use rubber mallett) good looking bar!

Great accessory, it would have been nice to know it would have to be removed permanently to install the oil filter bypass kit! :(

Just got my engine guards a few days ago and it literally took about 20 minutes to put on (with an extra pair of hands-as was recommeded by others). They look like they are just part of the bike, like they belong there. Very beautiful, yet tough. Took a little long for shipment, as I missed getting them before my trip to West Virginia, but oh well, I have them now and am pleased with the look. Would definitely buy again from cruiser-customizing!

Great engine guard. Looks awesome on the bike, very easy to install. I did it myself in about 15 minutes. Best engine guard out there for our bikes in my opinion.

I may be a little biased, but I think this is the best looking highway bar for the V-Star 1100 Classic. The size and shape just fits this bike perfectly. It is very heavy duty. Excellent chrome job. Easy to install, but it does help to have another pair of hands while putting it on the bike. The only problem with the install was that the lower engine mount bolt that was sent with the hardware was way too long, and I had to cut it off to get it to fit. I also had to tap the lower mounting brackets a little to make it fit, but that was pretty easy. I just couldn't figure out how they could send the wrong size bolt. That seems pretty basic to me. Over-all, this is a very good investment for this bike.
