Afterward, I took a long ride down to Red Wing, MN and stopped for a cold beer. The weather was PERFECT for early spring (70 degrees), and so was my new handlebar position. I'm very long waisted and these risers put the bars on my Roadstar in the PERFECT position for me. I sit more upright and a little more laid-back. Before I always felt liike I had to lean a bit forward to keep my hands on the bar. I had NO back pain and the ride was one of the most enjoyable ever!! If you feel you'd like a more "laid back" riding position on your Roadstar...you can't go wrong with these Baron risers. Oh...and they look GREAT too! Solid as a rock and a great finish. Fairly easy to install by myself...actually daughter helped hold the bars while I tightened up the risers. Definitely helped with the numb hands. I have always kept my chrome polished but nothing stopped the chrome finish on the risers from turning. Baron's won't cover since it's past warranty (they warranty all chrome for only 90 days) and they told me they have none in stock.
