I just lowered my bike yesterday. I'm 5'8" and dropping it two inches made all the difference. It looks great and is so much more comfortable for me. I did not adjust my shock and when my wife got on the back of the bike with me it didn't drop at all. The instructions were lacking a little. It took a while to install, but now that I have done it once, I could do it again in about 10 minutes.
