Works like a charm, and was relatively easy to install. Just had to watch out for the rear fender a little bit and getting that shock back into place.

This worked great, but I wanted more drop. So I ended up doing a "J" Slam, dropping the rear about 5 1/2".

Forget this part. I j-slammed mine. It worked out great. Cost 12bucks for the drill bit. And slammed about 2.5 inches. Rides a little stiff but that was what i wanted.

This made a significant difference in the looks and handling of my bike. You feel more like you are sitting "in" the bike instead of "on" it....however,I do wish it was even lower!

made one like this out of block steel milled down . tried the j-slam but was not to happy with results of the shock hitting the frame the way it did. with the right lenth I was able to get just the right drop of two and one half inch looks and feels great.

I wanted to lower my bike and saw this and the J-Slam from a web forum. The J-Slam was free and gave me more options for 1,2, 3 or 4 inch lowering. I went with a 3" lower doing the J-Slam and it is awesome. Check out this site for more info. http://www.650ccnd.com/julio.htm.

Good piece to have, a pain to install but worth the effort. The bike looks better as some of the space between the tire and fender is gone. Could've been lower but this way you can always go back to stock if you want to sell the bike.
