The J-Slam was free and gave me more options for 1,2, 3 or 4 inch lowering. I went with a 3" lower doing the J-Slam and it is awesome. The bike looks better as some of the space between the tire and fender is gone. Could've been lower but this way you can always go back to stock if you want to sell the bike.
