Did the PAIR value and desmog removal in January, 2011...I installed the stainless steel dimpled pair plates from magman...install was fairly ease with help at online sites. Did away with 95% of popping and exhaust decel backfiring on my Cobra pipes...and also seems to have improved MPG by 2 MPG....great mod.....paid $ 16.00

Didn't get the Baron's but bought a similiar item online. Very easy to install once you get the tank and PAIR valve assembly off. Reduces the need for choke use and deepens the exhaust sound in my opinion.

Installed to correct corrosion issue. Removal items are seat & gas tank. Once block off plates were installed, numerous emission items can be removed that are non functional.

Stopped backfire on decel. It may have added a deeper tone to exhaust but I'm not 100% on that. If your mildly handy with a wrench this isn't a difficult mod.

Got these a MUST if you replace your stock pipes... Stock pipes/exhaust systems hide the backfire that happens when the PAIR system allows air into the exhaust ports. (supposedly to reduce emissions, does nothing but cause a bickfire/poping sound in after market systems. Easy install and PAIR removal system instructions on the VTX Cafe or http://tech.vtxoa.com/index.phpaction=artikel&cat=31&id=25&artlang=en All the lines come off except the small top one plug it and cap it off - the one to the carb on the bottom of the valve remove and plug the line or remove from the back or your AIR box and plug the hole there... I just pluged the line at the air vac. valve
