This product allows you to retain the travel of your stock shock. I am very pleased with the ride. Installation was straight forward using common hand tools. Pressing in the new bearings from Yamaha is easy and can be accomplished using sockets that match the bearing's outside diameter and the jaws of a quality 4" vise as a press. My product came in a milled finish, not black annodized as shown. No regrets.

I bought the bike already lowered. Absolutly love the look! Things get a bit tricky, however, if you want to ride 2-up or if you take bumps too fast.
