(5 stars) reviewed on 06/08/05 byKyle Harbison (kharb) from Granger, IN, United States, for a 1999 1600/1700 Road Star Silverado wrote: Totally changes the image of the bike. Ride of bike doesn't change much. If anything, it improves it. Easy to install with a lift and the help of a friend. No need to remove rear tire just follow instructions at Road Star Clinic. Just buy the replacement bearings as opposed to trying to re-use the old ones. You'll save yourself a lot of time and they aren't all that expensive. May want to upgrade the spring to a heavier duty one at the same time. Review Details 9 out of 9 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(5 stars) reviewed on 10/01/04 byLouie Alvarez (LouieAlvarez) from Las Vegas, NV, United States, for a 2005 HOGStar 1600/1700 Road Star Silverado wrote: Actually purchased the Pacific Coast Star lowering kit and with the lower center of gravity the bike feels more stable and has a more powerful look. Highly recommended but you should add the progressive spring also from PCS while doing this for more spring tension. Helps when having a passenger or hitting bumps and dips.
