When I first got them I tried to install them, cables were not long enough, I called and was told stretch the cables they will fit ,no luck. I took the bike to a local dealer for professional install, they took off the faring to reroute the cables still to short now I have to get new throttle cables. If you are thinking about buying these bars think again it is costing me about 400.00 dollars to get these installed , price of the bars, throttle cables, and labor. I bought them with the addition of the riser extensions but the wider reach with the width of the bars actually countered the gains I was looking for with the riser extensions. Also the stock cables did not want to work with these bars although I was reassured they would and many of them have been installed on Ventures, so it may be something with the cables on my particular bike. I was however impressed with the wider grip, it actually felt like it made the front end at least 50lbs lighter and was more like power steering. Handling was improved, smoother in turns and more responsive. My only negatives with them was the cable issue and you cannot reuse the weights from the original bars on the Venture or Tour Deluxe, so other grip alternatives will be needed with them also.
