Not sure if mine is 2 ft long, but I had to buy it because my battery cover is too difficult to take off unless I really need to get to it. The radio I installed must be pulling power when not being used because after 2-3 days of sitting the bike won't start. Battery power drops down to 9.7 volts. If riding everyday, everything is fine. Now I have the plug accessible, and just plug it in at night to maintain the charge while I research and investigate the problem/solutions to this.
