Easy conections to the battery and the extension tucks right inbetween the frame and battery cover so there is no need to remove battery cover to plug the unit in.

These chargers are the best investment for your bike. The very low amperage (the lower the better) for ALL types of 12V batteries (dry or wet), auto-charge on/off feature & attachment kit can't be beat by any other battery charger on the market. Avoid using regular battery chargers which have higher amperage...the higher AMPS may end up frying your pickup coil.

my bike came with the Battery Tender plug built in so I decided to buy one of these rather than try to come up with a jack for my charger. Really simple to use, just plug it in and forget it.

Installed quick connect harness behind side cover and under seat, which lets you charge battery without removing side cover. Measured battery voltage with multi-meter after charge light changed to solid green, and it was 13.5 volts.

Originally bought this for my '93 Virago. Now it's on my VStar. One thing I really like about it is the inclusion of a fuse on the terminal leads. If, for whatever reason, your terminal leads should come into contact with something hot that melts the insulation, the fuse will blow before it has a chance to damage your battery.

Awesome. Hooked it up with the optional pigtails and quick disconnect. Now the bike sits and is always juiced up and ready to roll. Definate must have if the bike is being stored for a long period of time. Highly recommended.
