Well, actually I work for a battery company, and this is just what you need. I put my bike on the charger whenever I park it in the garage. Made a couple of quick disconnects off the battery posts, routed them over the frame under the seat, and I can have it connected in 10 seconds. My bike is two and a half years old, and I'm still running it around 12.7 vdc. Better than the option of buying a VStar battery for around $130. Review Details  Was this review helpful to you? Installed the pigtails onto the battery and now it's just a matter of plugging the bike into the charger any time I want to top off the battery. I really like how you can wire the quick attachment to the battery. Then I just used plastic ties and fastened the other end of that cable to the frame by the rear peg mount hole for quick access. The indicator light tells you without question, the state of your battery. The red light means it's analyzing the state of the battery's charge. The green light then starts blinking within seconds, indicating that the battery is being charged. A continuous green light means the battery is fully charged and ready to go.
