There is no kit; you need to buy a step drill bit...found one on ebay for $10 rather than the one at Home Depot for $50. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 11/01/09 byJohn (CromagnaMan) from Tallahassee / Quincy, FL, United States, for a 1995 750 Magna wrote: This is a very cool and unusual little decorative "do-dad". Most people that see this on my bike are convinced that it is no longer available, or is some little piece of nostalgic antique deocoration. Many of the folks think that this comes as a factory installed addition to the break light. (It's not!) Mine is so old now, it's faded to an almost purple color, but it's a real attention getter and conversation piece. (It's not expensive at all BTW!) One drills a hole in the red tail light / brake light, and installs this "jewel" flush into the red lens. When properly installed, (and mine is), you see a nice bright red running or brake light, with a quarter sized sparkling "jewel" in the middle of the light. Quite nice! Hint... drill/dremmel hole to size, then the four mounting tabs are twisted, not folded over! this holds both the blue lens and chrome bezel in place.A good source of info on this is the hot rodders forum google (H.A.M.B. forum) Review Details 8 out of 9 members found this review helpful.
