Gunnsteinn Jonsson (Gussi) from North Vancouver, BC, Netherlands, for a 2005 Blue-Black C90 Boulevard wrote: Very nice looking item for unbelievably low price. I was not sure if I liked it because it was a little bit bigger than I expected, but after spending quite some time looking at it and getting second opinion from friends I decided to mount it on the bike and I have to say it looks very nice. The install took a little bit of time, because you have to take the fender off, but it is not that complicated. The light has two wires, but if your bike has a metal fender like my Boulevard C90, only one is needed. I used double sided tape and silicone to keep the wire in place under the fender, which works fine. For those of you who are buying this light and have not installed it yet, remember to leave about 10cm slack of wire inside the light so you will be able to change the light-bulb without too much trouble. This will allow you plenty of room to lift the fender to drill and attach. Use a board or something to protect the tire when drilling the holes for the bolts. A word of CAUTION when attaching the light to the fender. Loctite and snug the bolts. Cracked paint from overtightening causes a grown man to cry. The wires can be run through the hole in the front of the metal fender support bracket and zip tied to the outside of i... Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
