They are Run/Stop lights and are wired to blink on braking before going solid but I think you need to have a Load Balance EQ for that feature to work. UPDATE: JUNE 26, 2011. I still love these tail lights but first I had some LEDs burn out from one of the lights which CC.com replaced at no cost to me. Now the other light has some burned out LEDs. The reason I went with LEDs is because they burn brighter, are resistant to vibration and they are supposed to last much longer than traditional bulbs or quartz halogen bulbs.
