DogBite (DogBite) from Johannesburg, , Europe, for a 2008 Raven 1900 Raider wrote: If you fit these to a Raider, you need two adapters, not just one for the right hand mirror. They are smaller than I thought they would be; barely enough field of view. I find I have to turn my head more than with the stock mirrors because I can't seen enough of what is behind me. They look really good though. I had to tighten the mirror to the stalk to stop the wind moving them around. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Kerry Terrio (kterio) from Denham Springs, LA, United States, for a 2005 Candy Durango Red 1300 VTX1300C wrote: Still debating on the look as I am going all flames. Honda Vtx owners make sure to get the 5/8 to 10 mm adapter. Need a lock nut on the mirror side or the left folds back when it vibrates also tighten the nut behind the mirror to keep them from folding down on you. After tightening the right one had to rotate it 180 deg before it would quit falling. They do look good but don't provide much view being a teardrop, but I knew that going in. Probably would have gotten something different knowing what I do. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Rudy Pry (rudypry) from , , for a 0 1600/1700 Road Star wrote: I have a RoadStar Midnight Star (Black and Chrome). So I thought the black and chrome tear drop mirrors would be a nice touch. Now, I will say they are very nice quality and put together very well. However; this bike is a big beast of a machine and the mirrors just don't reflect that and do it justice. They are just too small, where everything else on the bike is BIG (including me). I asked my wife what she thought and "whimpy" came out of her mouth. And you know what? She is right. I don't admidt to that very often either. I'm sure they would look great on a raked out chopper with thinner lines... Just keep this in mind. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
