You will need this kit if you have a big kawasaki. This is even noted in the main product's installation notes -- so having this listed as specific for kuryakyn levers is a bit misleading. Second, the product review. It is only a riser for the cam slide, so its a small piece of aluminum and a screw and lock washer. Not much to say other than its high quality, it works, and you'll need it on a big kawasaki. Last, the complaint. The BrakeAway didn't work with my Vulcan Classic 2000 LT without this extra cost riser kit. This tacked $15 ($10 for the tiny little part, and $5 for shipping) onto the price. It is truly a tiny little part, and in my opinion this should come with the package, or be a freebie from the factory in the event you do need it. They already include another type of extender into the base package, along with three different thicknesses of rubber inserts -- so I'm surprised and offended that this riser is not also included.
