Nice, quality product but difficult to install and adjust. There are 4 screws for the ring and they are TINY, like eyeglass screws. Plus, if you have a Softail, you have to remove stock brake pin and install theirs. To make an adjustment, I had to take it partially apart over and over. I followed the instructions to the letter but the unit kept slipping and/or wouldn't stay engaged. I FINALY got it to work correctly and took it for a long test ride. It works wel. It was very expensive and I hope it holds up, if it does, it will be worth the cost and aggravation.

I got the BrakeAway last summer and rode 2000 miles after putting it on my 04 Heritage Softail Classic. It has a tendency to slip a bit but overall is very helpful on a long cruise. Be cautious if you are changing grips, it will NOT fit with all replacement grips. You must check that out in advance.

Works good and looks really nice with the billet. Does tend to gain or slow and needs adjustment periodically while riding.
