I know that is obvious due to the design but but the speed varies quite a bit even on a gentle rolling road. All in all it is a nice piece. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(4 stars) reviewed on 04/13/10 byByron McKnight (bymax) from Mesquite, TX, United States, for a 2007 1300 VTX1300C wrote: Hard to install over Kuryakyn iso grips but seems like it would have been easy on others. Cruise is set by pressing down a lever and then is adjustable by rotating throttle. Unfortunately that can happen with just your hand pressure as well. Nice release features. Overall it is a good add on to relieve hand pressure on longer rides. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Easy install, recommend setting spring tension at 1/4 throttle to hold solid when engaged. Also recommend setting lock a little before desired speed and giving the throttle a little twist to maintain wanted speed. A little difficult installing over custom oversized grips. You need to walk it up the grip. The instructions explain this procedure. Read them front to back before starting. Instalation and adjustment was pretty easy. It did slip a little when it got wet in the rain, but still worked. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Looks difficult to install, and it was expensive, but it's the only product I found that I would put on my bike. I tend to think you get what you pay for. Ratings are just first impressions. I'll let you know... Review Details 1 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(4 stars) reviewed on 01/25/04 byKirby (kangell) from Edmond, OK, United States, for a 2004 1300 VTX1300C wrote: With the ISO grips, the install was a little tough. Got it on though, with the use of some dishwashing soap. The instructions were clear and there are a lot of them. Follow them step by step and expect to spend some time getting the device perfectly lined up to keep it from pinching the throttle. Tried it out on the interstate today; 70mph and it worked great. The front break release sold me on this device and that works great too. It also looks great; my brother said that it looks like it is a stock part of the bike.
